DEFUM
The company name was changed to Stanisław Krzynówek DEFUM Dąbrowska Machine Tools Factories (Dąbrowskie Fabryki Obrabiarek DEFUM im. Stanisława Krzynówka) In the 50-ties of the 20-tieth century the production range was extended by carousel lathes.
DEFUM
The Dąbrowska Machine Tool Factory operated the following departments: heavy machining, light machining and assembly. The factory received considerable financial resources, thanks to which a new assembly hall with social facilities was built.
PONAR-PORUM
In 1969-71, office building with the facilities for designer office was built. Main production hall was re-constructed. From 1970 Dąbrowska Machine Tool Factory was incorporated into the “PONAR-PORUM” Complex of Heavy Duty Machine Tool Factories (Kombinat Obrabiarek Ciężkich) in Poręba near Zawiercie
DEFUM
Factory in Dąbrowa Górnicza produced carousel latches as well as drilling and milling machines. They were sold to many countries all over the world. In 2004 the factory made a grinding machine for processing bullet chambers in ship cannons to the order of the US Ministry of Defence.
DEFUM
Beginning of 21 century was not very favourable time for the factory in Dąbrowa Górnicza. Changing market situation and lack of necessary investments made the competition more and more difficult, which finally led, in 2015, to the liquidation of the Factory.
The Living Factory. With respect for 140 years of history.
First records about the Dąbrowska Machine Tool Factory originate in 1879. The owners of the Factory changed many times, thousands of people worked there. We owe them memory and respect.
Therefore, everything we do in the Living Factory, we do it with respect for historical heritage, because the Living Factory is the Factory Full of History.
