  • some articles do not have the correct article heading structure – some articles were published before the Digital Accessibility Act came into force,
  • videos do not have subtitles for the deaf, – some videos were published before the Digital Accessibility Act came into force,

Keyboard shortcuts

Improving access for the blind

Abbreviated menu allows the user to jump to different parts of the screen, unique page titles allow to distinguish each page, images and graphics have alternative descriptions, and links have titles describing the link in more detail. Using the abbreviated menu, the user can directly access: menu content, search engine, page content; if an appropriate browser extension is installed, it can be used to read the titles of materials available on the website.

Everyone has the right to request that a digital website, mobile application or some element thereof be made accessible. It is also possible to request that the information be made available by an alternative means of access, for example by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a video without an audio description, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application the request is referring to and a means of contact. If the person making the request wishes to receive the information by an alternative means of access, they should also specify a way of presenting the information that is convenient for them. The public body shall comply with the request without delay, no later than 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public body shall inform the person making the request without delay when it will be possible to comply with the request, but the deadline shall not exceed 2 months from the date of the request. If digital accessibility is not possible, the public body may propose an alternative means of accessing the information. Where a public body refuses to comply with a request to provide accessibility or an alternative means of accessing the information, the person making the request may lodge a complaint about the provision of digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or an element of the website or mobile application.

Once all the provisions of the procedure indicated above are exhausted, it is also possible to submit a request to the Ombudsman.

Architectural accessibility

  • The corridors in the building are spacious, the staircases are equipped with handrails.

  • There are 2 designated parking spaces for people with disabilities at the building.
  • There is no sign language interpreter available on site or online in the building.
