At the end of 2019, we put into use the first revitalized building after the former “Defum” machine tool factory. As a result of the re-construction, topping up and changing the way it is used, the former electrical workshop was transformed into an exhibition building – a multimedia centre of the Living Factory.
We are open to cooperation with external partners, to involvement of residents, to the development of civil society, which is open-minded and active.
Our project is based on services and special care for natural environment, because the Living Factory is the place that has never been built before in Poland:
– unique in terms of architecture,
– using the whole range of eco-friendly solutions and technologies,
– showing the way to societies which abandon large-scale industrial technologies and the use of fossil fuels in favour of green and blue energy,
– created from the beginning under the control of local community – with residents and for residents.
